Witness and Response: Drawing Methods I is an introduction to drawing techniques, methods, and concepts. Employing strategies from studio and design arts, course projects center on ideation, observation, and creative growth. Various subjects will be investigated including still life and the human form. Students can expect to be exposed to traditional, digital and contemporary media. Through a critical examination of history, technique and concept, compositional strategies will be explored and developed.
